Girls Camp

DCYC Girls' Camp is an exciting week for girls aged 10 to 14 filled with fun, friends and Jesus! Throughout the week at Girls Camp we make new friends, swim in the sea, explore local attractions, take part in fun challenges, hunt leaders in disguise, play sports and games, make crafts and dance! At the heart of Girls Camp is a desire to see all those onsite learn more about God. We want the Girls to know who God is and the love He has for them. We host daily sessions where we hear a talk from our speaker alongside prayer, worship and tent group discussions. We believe that these pose a great opportunity to delve into all the teachings that the bible has to offer while focusing on life application. This year marks our 50th year down on our beautiful site in South Devon! We welcome all girls to come and enjoy a week of living life to the full with us at Girls Camp. Hi I'm Hannah and I have been involved with DCYC for the last 10 years. I am also an ex camper! In my day to day life I work as an outdoor instructor. I have a passion for Jesus and young people. I regularly serve on my churches' youth outreach team, hosting a lunchtime drop in for college students. I am passionate about DCYC as it has been a pivotal part of my faith journey. I love coming to camp each year to serve the mission of DCYC. It is an honour to now manage Girls Camp and facilitate the same experiences at camp for the next generation. As leaders we encourage the girls to step out in their faith, ask the tough questions and leave camp with a heart on fire for Jesus. I am so excited to be managing Girls Camp and look forward to seeing you all there!
